American Crafts Blog Hop
Happy Day everyone! What a fun weekend!!! And welcome to the American Crafts blog hop! Woot Woot! Party!!! You are here from Cindy Tobey's blog and I am so EXCITED that you stopped by!!!
We were challenged to use all of the new American Crafts lines on a single page to show how incredibly perfectly they all can work together! All of these lines!!!
Here is what I came up with...
The heart was so fun to make. I just hand cut a large heart out of cardstock and covered it with strips of patterned paper. Once it was all finished being covered, I carefully trimmed the excess from the center of the heart and then machine stitched it to 12x12 cardstock. My photos fit inside the heart and I embellished places with brads, flair, trim, buttons and a tag. Lastly, I punched small hearts and glued them to the cardstock in more random places, like ink splatters would be. And voila! It is finished!
I took these pictures on my baby's 5 year old photo shoot in August. She had a lot of fun walking around with me finding cool locations. And how could we pass up a big green wall with a 5 painted right on it?!?! It was perfect!
Supplies: Cardstock, patterned paper, fabric paper, stitched paper, tape, flair, buttons, brads, trim, tags, foam letters, rub ons: American Crafts; Punches: EK Success, Martha Stewart; Sewing Machine: Singer; Thread: Other
For a chance to win some coolio letter stickers (I really love letter stickers):
leave a shout out here by Wednesday, September 21st by 1:00 PM EST and I will randomly draw one winner! Fun!
But now you need to head on over to Heidi Sonboul's blog and check out her goodies!
Make sure you stop by all 20 designers blogs and leave a comment, and then head back to the AC blog and leave a comment for your chance to win TWO ENTIRE LINES!!!! What could be better!!
Have a fun time hopping!!
