But I love you...

Don't you just hate when your kids come home all upset because some mean girl, or boy, hurt their feelings. My mommy senses start going off and my irrational side wants to hunt the little kid down and tattle on them myself. Of course, I know that does no good and we talk about it all and I try to help her be able to handle it on her own. But my heart is still broken for her.

So not too long ago my DD#2 was having problems at school with a mean girl and it was just wrecking her whole world. Tears and stomach aches all over the place. And when I later went to scrapbook one night after she finally fell asleep, all I wanted to tell her was that I love her, no matter what and even when she thinks no one does.

For this page I used mostly American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neapolitan. Seriously, it will be good when I am out of this so I can use a different color scheme. LOL. But I just love it SOOOO much that I keep going back to it. Maybe it won't be good when it runs out... Hmmmm.....

Anyway...

The life lessons for a 2nd grader are hard. They are hard for me too! Even more is trying to stay level headed when your child is in pain even when it really is just 2nd grade girl drama. Thankfully, I know we will both survive this and I am happy to report, the drama is over (for now) and all is well in the 2nd grade. Awesome!

Happy Monday all! And thanks for stopping by!

  3. Your girl is so sweet. And Dear Lizzy colors match the photo so well, I wouldn't use another scheme:)
Life is hard sometimes, but this way we learn something.
